If you are sick, please call before visiting the health service.
The nurse you talk to will help determine whether you should come in for further evaluation. If you have the flu, anti-viral treatment (e.g., Tamiflu) has side-effects and is not appropriate or recommended for everyone. Depending on your symptoms and medical history, we may just advise you to stay home, saving you the trip to our office and preventing others from being exposed to your infection.

Note to students and faculty--We follow the CDC and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services guideline that recommends students stay at home or in their residence until at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever.
